Debonné Vineyards

  • Debonné Vineyards, a family legacy spanning three generations, began in 1916 when Anton Debevc planted roots (and vines) in Madison, Ohio. In 1972, the Debevcs became commercial winemakers, establishing Debonné as Ohio's largest estate winery and a leader in the region. Recognized as "Wine Family of the Year," their award-winning wines showcase generations of dedication.

  • Debonné Vineyards thrives in the heart of the Grand River Valley wine region. Nestled amidst rolling hills, they benefit from well-drained sand and gravel soils, ideal for grapevine health. The nearby Lake Erie moderates the climate, creating perfect conditions for ripening grapes.

  • Over 175 acres of vines are meticulously cared for by Debonné's dedicated vineyard and cellar crews. This dedication translates into an impressive annual production of over 85,000 gallons of delicious and award-winning wines. While Riesling and Ice Wine are their signature offerings, Debonné delights wine lovers with a diverse portfolio. From the bold expressions of Cabernet Franc and Chambourcin reds to the elegant Chardonnay and Pinot Gris whites, there's a Debonné wine to tempt every palate.
