Founded in 1980 by Bruce and Debbie Simpson, Good Harbor Vineyards has a simple mission: to offer high-quality, affordable Michigan wines. After studying viticulture and oenology, Bruce, along with Debbie, planted their vineyards and opened the winery. Today, the second generation, siblings Sam and Taylor Simpson, continue the family legacy on the Leelanau Peninsula.

Harbor Hill Fruit Farms, established in 1978 by Sam and Taylor's family, supports not just Good Harbor Vineyards but also other Michigan wineries. This farm-to-glass operation leverages modern techniques and cutting-edge equipment while honoring traditional aging methods.

Good Harbor Vineyards cultivates over 175 acres of grapes across diverse varieties, including Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and more. Their dedicated team ensures meticulous care for each vine, resulting in award-winning wines that consistently impress.
